This role is central to ensuring a reliable, secure, and efficient client landscape across mobile platforms, traditional clients, and virtual workspaces.\nOperate and further develop the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform with a strong focus on Apple, iOS, and JAMF.\nDefine and maintain configuration profiles, security baselines, compliance controls, and enrollment processes for mobile devices.\nEnsure secure, stable, and user-friendly lifecycle management of mobile devices \nCollaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance MDM functionality and optimize related processes.\nOversee system management platforms (e.g., Landesk) to support patching, software distribution, and update lifecycle activities.\nOperate and further develop the Intune endpoint management platform for all mobile devices incl. hand held scanners on the shopfloor\nContribute to modernization, harmonization, and automation initiatives within system management.\nEnsure system and patch management processes comply with security and corporate standards.\nManage packaging, testing, and deployment of software across heterogeneous client environments.\nWork closely with external partners to ensure efficient software packaging and high-quality releases.\nMaintain documentation of packaging standards and continuously improve packaging workflows.\nSupport and optimize macOS, Windows, and VDI client environments.\nParticipate in architecture reviews and propose improvements across client technologies.\nCoordinate with external service providers for L2/L3 operations and ensure alignment with internal service expectations.\nMonitor and improve service performance, reliability, and overall user experience.\nAct as an architectural point of contact for client and mobile services within the team.\nEnsure service designs align with security, compliance, and operational guidelines.\nSupport long-term roadmap planning and harmonization across client and mobile services.\n Solid experience in IT infrastructure or client engineering roles, ideally with exposure to both mobile and desktop environments.\nGood understanding of Apple/iOS ecosystems, JAMF, and general mobile device management concepts.\nExperience with system management, patch management, and software deployment tools (Landesk experience is a plus).\nFamiliarity with software packaging, client automation, and lifecycle processes.\nTechnical knowledge across macOS, Windows, and VDI platforms.\nAbility to oversee architectural aspects in collaboration with partners and internal stakeholders.\nProactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.\nTeam-player attitude with solid communication skills and a willingness to take ownership.\n The well-being of our employees is important to us.
