Are you ready to shape the future with us?\n The Maintenance Systems & Asset Management Intern will support the Auburn facility's maintenance digitalization efforts during and after the SAP S/4HANA implementation. This role will work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Storeroom personnel to improve equipment master data, preventative maintenance programs, spare parts management, and maintenance planning processes.\nThe intern will play a key role in establishing accurate asset information within SAP, supporting storeroom optimization, and helping create a sustainable maintenance management system that improves equipment reliability and operational efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nSAP PM Master Data Support\nValidate and maintain equipment master records within SAP S/4HANA.\nAssist with creation and verification of functional locations.\nSupport upload and validation of maintenance-related master data.\nReview equipment hierarchies for accuracy and completeness.\nHelp maintain work center and maintenance planning data.\nPreventive Maintenance Program Development\nSupport conversion and setup of preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in SAP.\nReview existing maintenance plans and standardize frequencies.\nAssist with development of task lists and maintenance procedures.\nVerify PM documentation and ensure accuracy of maintenance records.\nSupport reliability improvement initiatives.\nStoreroom & Spare Parts Management\nAssist with spare parts cataloging and standardization.\nVerify spare parts descriptions, specifications, and inventory attributes.\nSupport SAP material master cleanup activities.\nHelp identify duplicate or obsolete inventory.\nAssist with organization and optimization of storeroom locations.\nSupport cycle count and inventory accuracy initiatives.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nDevelop reports and dashboards related to maintenance performance.\nAnalyze equipment history and maintenance trends.\nTrack PM compliance metrics.\nSupport data validation activities during SAP testing and go-live.\nPrepare management reports and presentations.\nContinuous Improvement\nParticipate in maintenance and engineering improvement projects.\nConduct shop floor observations and process mapping.\nSupport 5S initiatives within maintenance and storeroom areas.\nDocument standard work and operating procedures.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify maintenance processes.\n Education\nPursuing a Bachelor's degree in:\nMechanical Engineering\nIndustrial Engineering\nManufacturing Engineering\nSupply Chain database tools is a plus\n Must wear steel-toe shoes, safety glasses and earplugs when in manufacturing area.\nAbility to work in a noisy environment and be exposed to low levels of carbon black dust, which may be dirty.\nBe aware of all safety regulations and the visibility of forklifts on the work floor.\nStanding for extended periods of time.\nAbility to lift up to 55 pounds on a regular
