Continental's tire division currently employs around 53,000 people worldwide and has 19 production and 16 development sites.\n YOUR TASKS\nDrives continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes, resolving production and quality issues, implementing sustainable solutions, and collaborating across teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase output.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nAnalyze workflows to identify improvement areas in the process\nDrive change initiatives utilizing cross-functional team collaboration and lean manufacturing principles to effect lasting process advancements\nDevelop and upkeep aids such as process alerts, work instructions, and one-point lessons\nIdentify process problems and own their resolutions to increase production output, including root cause analysis and data reporting to department\nAnalyze capital expenditures and project designs to find cost cutting and investment driving solutions, including for new equipment to ensure proper release\nIdentify areas for quality improvement in the process and collaborate to find solutions that drive down scrap in the area\nMust have continuous improvement experience\nEnsure implementation of measures and maintain controls \nBe self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure.\nFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned\nNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE\nBachelor’s degree in related Engineering or Technical field & two or more years' relevant experience in a related manufacturing environment OR\nIf no bachelors degree, must be currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in a related engineering or technical field and have a minimum of 6-9 years of relevant experience\nThis role is an internal only position, external applicants will not be considered for this role\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
