Continental's tire division currently employs around 53,000 people worldwide and has 19 production and 16 development sites.\n YOUR TASKS\nConducts inspections of tire semi-products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards, identifies and manages non-conforming materials, and maintains accurate quality, SPC, waste, and reporting data. Supports quality assurance through error-proofing verification, adherence to established procedures and systems, and communication of quality issues to production teams.\nHOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nExecute tire inspection to ensure product quality level compliance with Continental Tire WW standards\nMust be able to pass titmus eye exam with/without correction and color blindness to perform tasks\nUtilize, refer to, and perform tasks using Continental Tire WW semi-product off-standard standards catalogue and QMS standards (ISO/TS16949, CCC, etc.)\nInspect semi-products from preparation to curing according to control plans\nTake the necessary actions in case of non-conformities (inform relevant production personnel, stop the next process from using the off-standard material, blocking of semi-products and items produced with off-standard material)\nApply non-conformance procedure and complete over-inspection checklists\nEnter data into the electronic SPC data collection system where applicable and\nKnowledge of CGMS system and produce daily report for quality engineers\nWeigh and classify waste in waste collection area and enter/collect data\nComplete error proofing verification\nBe self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressure.\nFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and procedures.\nOther duties as assigned.\nNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.\n WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nOne or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment\nPrevious or current certification in either tire build/cold prep/quality department (operator, setup, etc.)\nMust be willing to work selected shift for this position\nThis role is an internal only position, external applicants will not be considered for this role\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
