This role encompasses team leadership, continuous improvement, strategic resource management, and quality assurance across all production processes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuality Assurance & Process Control\nConduct process audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications\nInvestigate quality incidents and non-conformances, leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions\nOversee equipment calibration and maintenance schedules to ensure measurement system accuracy\nManage supplier quality assessments and maintain quality documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements\nQuality Technician Management & Development\nManage and direct quality inspection staff, providing comprehensive training and professional development opportunities\nConduct regular performance evaluations of inspectors in accordance with established quality management standards\nEstablish and maintain competency frameworks to ensure inspectors meet required quality standards and certifications\nContinuous Improvement & Budget Oversight\nLead continuous improvement initiatives across departments whilst maintaining a strong internal supplier-customer orientation\nParticipate in the annual budgeting process to ensure optimal allocation of quality department resources\nDevelop and implement quality metrics and key performance indicators to monitor departmental performance\nEducation/Certification:\nTertiary qualification in Engineering or Scientific field (Bachelor degree minimum)\nProfessional Experience:\n3-5 years in Quality Management\nLeadership Experience:\n1-2 years leading a small team or group (preferred)\n2-3 years in automotive manufacturing and/or rubber manufacturing (preferred)\nFluent English communication\n Ready to drive with Continental?
