We operate Continental's global Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, enabling our Sales and Service teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences worldwide.\nTo support our growing Salesforce landscape, we are hiring for one of the following profiles:\nSalesforce DevOps Engineer\nSalesforce Developer\nCandidates may apply if they meet the qualifications of either role.\nOption 1: Salesforce DevOps Engineer\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive the DevOps and release strategy for a global Salesforce Sales & Service implementation.\nDesign, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, SFDX/sf CLI, automated testing, and quality gates.\nDefine environment, branching, and release management strategies.\nEstablish deployment governance, approval workflows, rollback plans, and hotfix procedures.\nTroubleshoot deployment issues, metadata dependencies, test failures, and permissions-related challenges.\nContinuously improve deployment reliability, speed, and platform stability.\nEnforce DevOps standards, including source control, pull request policies, security, auditability, and deployment best practices.\nCollaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to support efficient software delivery.\nOption 2: Salesforce Developer\nKey Responsibilities\nSalesforce Development & Implementation\nDesign, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.\nDevelop customizations, integrations, and automation on the Salesforce platform.\nCollaborate with project managers, business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery.\nSupport Salesforce global rollout initiatives and enhancement projects.\nPerform code reviews and promote development best practices and standards.\nMentor junior developers and share technical knowledge across the team.\nStay current with Salesforce releases and recommend innovative solutions.\nSalesforce Support & Operations\nProvide technical support and consultancy to key users.\nAnalyze incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, key users, and external vendors.\nSupport and monitor service tickets through enterprise service management tools.\nMaintain project and support documentation according to Continental IT standards.\nStrategy & Innovation\nSupport the global Salesforce roadmap and future platform development.\nEvaluate new technologies and recommend innovations that create business value.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Salesforce ecosystem.\n Candidates may apply for either of the following profiles:\nSalesforce DevOps Engineer Qualification\nAcademic degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification\n5+ years of experience in DevOps / Release Engineering, ideally with Salesforce delivery\nProven hands-on experience building and running CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce (e.g., Azure DevOps/Git, SFDX/sf CLI)\nStrong understanding of Salesforce deployment concepts (metadata, environments/sandboxes, Apex tests & coverage, dependencies, rollback/hotfix)\nSolid scripting/automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experience with build tools and artifacts\nExperience with quality gates and code checks (automated tests, static analysis, PR policies)\nKnowledge of authentication and secrets management (service connections, Key Vault or equivalent)\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with developers, admins, QA, and architects\nPassion for improving processes and sharing knowledge\nProfessional working proficiency in English (written and verbal)\nOpen to international travel (up to 10%)\n Salesforce Developer Qualifications\nAcademic degree (Bachelor/Master/Ph.D.) in Information & Communication Technology or related field, another technical field or an equivalent qualification\n5 years and above of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Flow Builder and Lightning\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices primarily Sales Cloud. Marketing Cloud & Service Cloud is a plus\nStrong experience with RESTful APIs\nExperience with Agile software development methodologies\nExperience with Git, Azure ADO, and other software development tools\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nSalesforce certification(s) is a plus e.g., Certified Platform App Builder / Certified Platform Developer I & II\nProfessional command of written and spoken English\nTeam-oriented, self-organized and ability to work under pressure\nDistinctive communication combined with assertiveness, high commitment, flexibility, intercultural sensitivity\nAble to travel internationally\nMandarin language skills is a plus\nYou must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is located.
