We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will take ownership of a business-critical self-hosted web application platform. In this role, you will drive reliability, automation, and continuous improvement across cloud and on-premises environments while working with modern technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, and GitHub.\nYou’ll be responsible for …\nOperate, maintain, and continuously improve a complex self-hosted web application platform\nManage and enhance infrastructure across on premises and cloud environments.\nOwn and optimize CI/CD pipelines, development toolchains, and deployment automation.\nAdminister and improve technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub, and related DevOps tooling.\nInvestigate and diagnose incidents across application modules, data flows, interfaces, configurations, and code.\nPerform root-cause analysis and differentiate between user-related issues, configuration problems, data defects, interface failures, and software bugs.\nIndependently resolve recurring incidents and implement sustainable fixes using Pro-Code, Low Code, and No-Code approaches.\nImprove platform observability, monitoring, automation, reliability, and operational transparency.\nIdentify technical debt, quality risks, and architectural improvements while contributing to refactoring and maintainability initiatives.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational best practices.\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nProven experience in DevOps Engineering, Software Development, IT Operations, or a similar role.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.\nStrong understanding of application operations, incident management, root-cause analysis, monitoring, and observability.\nExperience improving platform reliability, performance, and maintainability.\nFluent English communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams\nStarting salary: 2 860€ per month Brutto + var. part of salary.\nSte pripravený pracovať pre Continental?
