Continental's tire division currently employs around 53,000 people worldwide and has 19 production and 16 development sites.\n TT Processing Floor Supervisor will:\nThe Production Line Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Commercial Processing Department.\nCoordinates scheduling and inventory activities for employees, machines and material.\nResponsible for filling out the required reports, paperwork and checks.\nMaintain communication with employees and management concerning departmental and plant issues.\nEnsuring that all department employees have safe and productive working environment.\nConducting safety talks, audits, and meetings with the department employees.\nResponsible for meeting and exceeding all departmental goals for safety, productivity, and quality.\nResponsible for meeting individual goals which are agreed upon with the management group.\nEnsure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.\nNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.\nBasic Qualifications:\nAssociate's Degree or 5 years experience required.\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. \nNew Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. \nThe job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
