The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Appian architecture, API development, and integration solutions with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Appian, and other cloud/on-premise platforms. The role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development skills, and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions in GovCloud and hybrid MuleSoft environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nIntegration Strategy: Define integration patterns, reusable components, and best practices for enterprise-wide API development across GovCloud, on-prem, and cloud platforms.\n\nSecurity & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, SAML, and API Gateway policies, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.\n\nCollaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, government agencies, and solution architects to understand integration needs and deliver robust solutions.\n\nDocumentation & Training: Maintain technical documentation, create API specifications, and mentor junior developers in best practices for hybrid and GovCloud integrations.\n\nCI/CD & DevOps: Implement automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery in GovCloud environments.\n\nPerformance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Appian applications for performance, scalability, and resilience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.\n\nAppian Gov Cloud & Hybrid Deployment: Deploy and manage Appian applications on GovCloud, and on-premise environments with a focus on hybrid integration.\n\nQualifications\nCertified Level 2 Appian Developer\n\n3+ Years of experience as a hands-on Appian Developer in a senior/lead role for production applications\n\n1+ years of experience developing Appian Plugins\n\n1 Year of experience managing an on-premises Appian Production Environment\n\n2+ years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration including configuring user interfaces, reports, underlying logic, and interface components as a developer.\n\n2+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL scripting.\n\n3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies.\n\n2+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST APIs\n\nU.S. Citizen/Green Card Holder\n\nPreferred Skills:\n2+ years of recent work experience on a software development project in a Federal government setting.\n\nExperience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.\n\n1 Year of Experience with Java\n\nExperience with Appian for
