In 2025 we ranked #8 on the AFR Fast 100 of fastest-growing companies.\nWe've produced hundreds of 99+ ATARs, tutored the world-record UCAT scorer, and placed 850+ students into medical and dental schools across Australia.\nContour is made up of three brands:\nContour Education → academic performance in high school\nContour MedPrep → entry into medical and dental schools\nContour TestPrep → entry into selective and scholarship schools\nContour is built by students, for students.\nWhat you'll do\nYou'll teach a group of students content and application, and help them work through difficult questions:\nTeach - intuitively teach subject content to a full class of 8-20 students\nCoach - study skills and exam strategy\nMentor - share your own experiences and form genuine connections\nConnect - build relationships that inspire students to keep going\nFor example, you might teach two classes on Monday and two on Tuesday (4:15-6:15pm and 6:45-8:45pm), plus two on Saturday morning (10:00am-12:00pm and 12:30-2:30pm).\nWhat you'll bring\nStrong communication and a knack for making hard concepts click\nKnowledge of Physics at first-year university level or above\nA 99+ ATAR and a 45+ raw study score in your subject (highly desirable, not required)\n6+ classes per week, committed across a full academic year (around 12+ hours weekly)\nEnergy, empathy, and a desire to help students\nAlignment with Contour's mission (non-compete agreement required)\nWhy you'll love it\nYou'll work alongside high-achieving university peers who study similar degrees to you and are at Contour for the same reason: to give back and help the next generation of students.\nThe pay: classes run two hours. Tutors start at $90/class and reach $140+/class, plus super and bonuses. Most Tutors earn $130 to $220+/class including bonuses.\nYou don't build the material: every class runs on a workbook our subject team writes, with homework, practice assessments and exams already built into our learning portal.\nReal (paid) training: qualification through Contour Tutor Academy, class sit-ins, regular check-ins with your team lead, and honest feedback on your tutoring.\nA schedule you choose: pick your days, campuses, and times.
