DA is a part of Vencora, a global financial services software group within Constellation Software. \nThe Position:\nWe are looking for an Assistant Accountant to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. \nAssistant Accountant job duties include working with the Finance Manager to create and analyze financial reports, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate holds an accounting degree and is familiar with Oracle Netsuite accounting software. \nUltimately, the responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company. \nResponsibilities:\n· Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process within GP.\n· Post invoice batches within the sales module and ensuring that the invoices are being deferred correctly in GP.\n· Review of AR aging reports\n· Process customer account credits, return memos, cash receipts and apply them against invoices in GP.\n· Oversee the Accounts Mailbox.\n· Coordinate and prepare customer invoices and reconcile monthly invoice activity to ensure completeness and accuracy\n· Coordinates and manages all relevant support relating to customer invoices including executed contracts, purchase orders and other support material.\n· Assist in the regular reconciliation of AR related accounts (e.g., AR, deferred revenue).\n· Assist in the preparation of internal monthly financial statements related to monthly, quarterly and annual reporting within deadlines and with high attention to accuracy, including:\n· Bank and account reconciliation preparation and adjustments, analytical review and variance analysis\n· Reconcile the AP and AR Subledgers to the General Ledger\n· Assist with the update of quarterly accruals and commitments;\n· Preparation of journal entries for month end close\n· Process accounts payable by analyzing different invoices and making sure they are coded correctly and posting them into GP.\n· Identify intercompany differences and send to local accounting team findings\n· Prepare intercompany journals (management fees, recharges etc.)\n· Prepare transfer pricing journals and send to local accounting team to review\n· Assistance with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations monthly and related reports\n· Assistance with preparation of revenue analysis reports monthly\n· Assistance with preparation of trial balance variance analysis and commentary monthly\n· Assist with quarterly disclosure reporting and templates\n· Generates and maintains complete records of all financial transactions in accordance to IFRS and in time to meet internal and external timelines\n· Implement process improvements to accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.\n· Undertake special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed.\nRequirements:\n· Proven bookkeeping/accounting experience.\n· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles\n· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records\n· Experience with Oracle Netsuite\n· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers\n· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software\n· Proficiency in English and in MS Excel.\n· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail\n· Finalist or part qualified Professional qualification (ACCA / ICAP or similar), Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.\n\nExciting Benefits we offer:\nMarket-leading Salary\nMedical Coverage - Self & Dependents\nParents Medical Coverage\nProvident Fund\nEmployee Performance-based bonuses\nHome Internet Subsidy\nConveyance Allowance\nProfit Sharing Plan [Tenured Employees Only]\nLife Benefit\nChild Care Facility\nCompany Provided Lunch/Dinner\nProfessional Development Budget\nRecreational area for in-house games\nSporadic On-shore training opportunities\nFriendly work environment\nLeave Encashment\nDisclaimer: At Contour, we attribute our success to the unique contributions of our diverse staff.
