Their dedication continues to help us grow and thrive. \nThe Position: \n This position will report directly to the VP, Finance (Bacchus Portfolio), and work as part of the broader Finance team. They will be a key part of portfolio reporting as well as working with the portfolio business units to improve group reporting and internal processes and controls. \nThe ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in accounting, finance, and general business concepts, with superior analytical skills, a strong work ethic, and great interpersonal skills. \nWhat can I expect to do in this role?\nYou will:\n· Post monthly and quarterly entries relating to:\no IC charges including providing support and resolving any concerns &\no Transfer pricing entries\no Payroll and related entries including bonus entries, expense reports, etc.\n· Prepare recs and submit timely per monthly timelines. Help follow up on incomplete recs across the portfolio\n· Roll forward templates and capture any reporting updates requested by Volaris in templates\n· Manage concur (Expense managing tool) to timely process approved expense reports and submit to Payroll\n· Prepare payments for processing as requested (invoice payments for portfolio and requested payments by other sub portfolios as needed) and maintain adequate support of approval for internal audit compliance\n· Timely preparation of tax pack for portfolio holding company and support any portfolio companies in preparing tax pack\n· Provide support/follow up to ensure timely resolution of\no unreconciled IC balances within portfolio\no unmapped BPC accounts to error in uploads\n· Review monthly and quarterly reporting submissions in a timely manner for completeness and follow up with teams for any delays.\n· Coordinate with concerned functions to timely resolve any variances from reporting submissions.\n· Be the point of contact for portfolio for BPC and GP submissions to review for completeness and accuracy of the request.\n· Execute internal audit plan for the portfolio, including;\no selecting samples,\no documenting internal controls compliance and exceptions,\no working with the business management by suggesting remediation plans in alignment with the Risk Control Matrix and\no follow through with reporting of Internal Audit mandate.\n· Other projects such as template improvements and help resolve pain points such as variances in IP and CR schedules, help with NetSuite implementation coordination and adhoc AI and process improvement initiatives. \nMinimum Qualifications:\n· Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, equivalent degree\n· Six to eight years experience in roles with exposure to Accounting, Reporting and Audit\n· Good organizational and analytical skills and ability to prioritize multiple activities and requirements\n· Able to obtain, analyze and appraise data\n· You have comprehensive theoretical and applied knowledge of IFRS standards, accounting principles, and audit practices and methodologies\n· Problem solving/Logic/Root Cause analysis\n· Ethics/Integrity\n· Adaptable to Change/Learns quickly\n· Action-Oriented\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Professional accreditation, e.g. CPA, ACCA or international IFRS based qualification.\nPreferred Competencies\n· Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while partnering with business stakeholders to understand emerging risks.\n· Ability to proactively provide thought-leadership to offer suggested solutions/path forward to resolve issues.\n· Lead meetings and discussions, including developing agendas and creating materials with the appropriate amount of detail for the audience, and proactively follow through on open items.\n· Self-directed to meet deadlines with complete and accurate deliverables.\n· Applies critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and professional judgement when problem solving to overcome challenges.\n· Ability to assess the financial relevance of in-scope systems/processes/controls and provide recommendations for improvement to mitigate risk.\n· Collaborates to pursue innovative opportunities to optimize and simplify processes.\nExciting Benefits we offer:\nMarket-leading Salary\nMedical Coverage - Self & Dependents\nParents Medical Coverage\nProvident Fund\nEmployee Performance-based bonuses\nHome Internet Subsidy\nConveyance Allowance\nProfit Sharing Plan [Tenured Employees Only]\nLife Benefit\nChild Care Facility\nCompany Provided Lunch/Dinner\nProfessional Development Budget\nRecreational area for in-house games\nSporadic On-shore training opportunities\nFriendly work environment\nLeave Encashment\nDisclaimer: At Contour, we attribute our success to the unique contributions of our diverse staff.
