This posting is for an existing and currently open position.\nGeneral Description\nChampions equipment automation initiatives to achieve strategic goals, support production, and new supply mandates.\n\nSupports equipment compliance requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProvidefirst line of engineering technical and troubleshooting supportto resolve automation and control system issues.\n\nDevelop strategic technical plans in collaboration with Customer to meet the forecasted business need.\n\nDevelop and implement equipment automation improvements.\n\nLeadcross-functional teams to establish and meet project plan goals.\n\nDesign, specify (URS/FS/DS), procure, install, commission, qualify (IQ/OQ) and handover of projects for site equipment control systems.\n\nEnsure Environmental,Health & Safety awareness through all project stages.\n\nSelect and manage professional consultants, contractors, and suppliers.\n\nSupport deviation investigations by acting as the Engineering Subject Matter Expert for CAPA development and Root Cause Analyses; manage completion of Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPAs).\n\nDevelop and author site automation procedures, standards, and Equipment Validation Reports.\n\nMaintain computer system configuration records (e.g. version control, backups, user access control lists).\n\nParticipate in site change control procedures as change owner, technical reviewer, or task owner.\n\nLead controls projects on site with focus on data integrity and controls obsolescence initiatives/mandates, and support serialization where required.\n\nExperience and Skills\nMinimum 3-5 years of Engineering experience in the manufacturing and packaging industry.\n\nCurrent P. Eng. status (or equivalent) or eligible.\n\nExpert and extensive technical knowledge in electrical and controlsdesign (hardware and software); specific programming fluency, as required (i.e. Modicon, Allen Bradley, Visual Basic etc.).\n\nExcellence in design, troubleshooting and optimization of the electrical and computer control systems for manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment.\n\nExcellent knowledge of applicable legislation, Good Engineering Practices, and current GMPs.\n\nGood project management skills and ability to handle multiple complex projects, with cross functional teams and independently.\n\nSound analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.\n\nDemonstrated interpersonal, leadership, negotiation, organization and influencing skills.\n\nExcellent technical communication skills.\n\nEducation\nRequired: B.Sc.
