This role will be responsible for reviewing and managing the security compliance of our Client’s data center security program. This role will work closely with the client and vendors to ensure the Data Center’s security program meets all compliance requirements, as well as being able to keep abreast of upcoming changes to ensure future compliance as well.\nThis individual will serve as a trusted representative of the client on-site, maintaining detailed quality records, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and construction quality throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires regular travel to 10-15 campuses in a contained geographical area, often with limited advance notice.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nTravel to different client sites, to review compliance operations for insurance certificates, business licenses, municipal permits, city inspections, registrations, renewals, and related audit documentation..\nSupport consistent methodologies for compliance risk assessments, control effectiveness reviews, reassessments, ongoing monitoring, and issue management.\nReview, track, and escalate compliance gaps related to expired or missing licenses, incomplete insurance documentation, inspection findings, missed deadlines, open corrective actions, or unclear ownership.\nMonitor compliance with internal policies, service-level expectations, renewal timelines, inspection requirements, and documentation standards.\nPartner with Legal, Facilities, Real Estate, Risk Management, Procurement, Finance, Operations, site teams, vendors, brokers, and external agencies to collect documentation, confirm requirements, and resolve open compliance items.\nSupport internal audits and readiness reviews by gathering evidence, validating records, preparing responses, tracking findings, and ensuring remediation actions are completed.\nIdentify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions.\nMaintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready records for licenses, permits, insurance documentation, inspection results, corrective actions, renewal evidence, and compliance communications.\nWork closely with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues.\nMaintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings.\nRepresent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree \n7+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, licensing, insurance compliance, facilities compliance, legal operations, regulatory operations, or related roles.\nExperience managing documentation-heavy compliance workflows involving licenses, permits, certificates of insurance, inspections, regulatory filings, renewals, corrective actions, or audit evidence.\nExperience supporting large-scale operational, facilities, real estate, construction, data center, technology, municipal, regulated, or multi-site environments is preferred.\nMust be adept at working independently and engaging productively with a range of stakeholders.\nAbility to identify quality risks, installation defects, incomplete work, and documentation gaps before they affect commissioning or operations.\nStrong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision-making.\nWorks iteratively, delivering quickly and frequently to produce high-quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.\nStrong critical thinking skills that enable problem solving and understanding complex, dynamic issues.\nTrack record of having earned the trust of leadership by challenging norms, upgrading team performance, enabling growth, improving efficiency, and leading individuals without having any authority over them.\nPossess the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.\nAbility to travel up to 75% with a moments notice in region.\nBenefits\nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nWe operate a discretionary bonus scheme that incentivizes, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance.\n Control Risks supports hybrid working arrangements, wherever possible, that emphasize the value of in-person time together - in the office and with our clients - while continuing to support flexible and remote working. \nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nMedical Benefits, Prescription Benefits, FSA, Dental Benefits, Vision Benefits, Life and AD&D, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Disability Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, 401 (K) Retirement, Nationwide Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.\nAs an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.\n The base salary range for this position is $140,000-150,000 per year.
