Tasks and Responsibilities
- To be able to deputise for the Logistics Manager.
- Maintain the HRMS Iraq equipment database in conjunction with the Equipment support team.
- Maintain the armoury holdings and ensure full compliance with GoI regulation and Control Risks SoPs.
- Ensure the general security of the armoury and its contents, including control and containment, also daily/weekly/monthly checks of the holdings.
- Issue ammunition and maintain the stack tally cards records for ammunition in the ammunition bunker.
- Maintain the Equipment Table account and advise the Regional Logistics Manager of any changes or discrepancies to the Control Risks equipment holdings.
- Issue/receipt items onto the main equipment holding account and issue/receipt to sub-units/personnel as required.
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly checks in accordance with Control Risks SOP’s.
- Maintain sub department stock inventory and stock levels in accordance with Control Risks SOP’s.
- Knowledge of facility management and generator systems.
- Sub-contractor engagement and management
- Be prepared to undertake any reasonable task requested in the day-to-day management of the regional logistics department.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience
- Previous experience in a demanding and dynamic commercial environment.
- Knowledge of stores accounting, weapon systems, and ammunition accounting procedures.
Preferable
- Previous operational experience in the Middle East is desirable, especially in Iraq
Qualifications and specialist skills
- Microsoft Office proficient (Excel)
Preferable
- Degree qualified in a relevant field.
Competences
- Fluent in Arabic
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
