The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to senior security leadership, driving program maturity, developing operational processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring the GSOC can effectively support stakeholders across the broader organization.\nPartner with senior stakeholders to support the transformation of the GSOC into an enterprise-wide security function. \nDevelop roadmaps and recommendations to enhance GSOC capabilities and maturity.\nLead the day-to-day operation of the GSOC and provide oversight of all security operations personnel. \nAct as the primary liaison between the client and GSOC staff, ensuring alignment with strategic security objectives. \nIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, technology utilization, and service delivery. \nEstablish and maintain operational metrics, reporting mechanisms, and quality assurance processes. \nProvide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance oversight for embedded GSOC personnel. \nFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. \nEnsure operators adhere to established SOPs, escalation protocols, and service standards.\nEnsure timely response to security incidents impacting personnel, facilities, operations, executives, and business continuity. \nCoordinate emergency communications, crisis management support, and stakeholder notifications. \nLead after-action reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvements following significant incidents.\nDevelop, review, and maintain GSOC policies, procedures, playbooks, and escalation frameworks. \nImplement quality assurance measures to maintain consistency across shifts and personnel. \nDesign and manage training programs to ensure operator readiness and operational excellence. \nSupport exercises, drills, and crisis response simulations.\nRequirements\n7+ years of experience within a GSOC, Security Operations Center, Fusion Center, intelligence function, or similar security operations environment. \n3+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience. \nExperience supporting the standing up, transforming, or expanding of a GSOC, Fusion Center, or enterprise security program. \nExperience managing or supporting 24/7 security operations. \nExperience developing SOPs, operational frameworks, and incident management processes. \nDemonstrated success leading operational transformation or program improvement initiatives. \nStrong understanding of incident management, crisis response, threat monitoring, and security operations best practices. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior stakeholders and executives. \nAbility to influence stakeholders and drive change within a complex organizational environment.\nBackground in intelligence analysis, risk management, corporate security, emergency management, or business continuity. \nExperience managing contract security personnel and multiple vendor relationships. \nFamiliarity with travel risk management, executive protection support, and global incident monitoring. \nKnowledge of security technologies such as access control systems, CCTV platforms, incident management systems, mass notification tools, and threat intelligence platforms.\nBenefits\nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nWe operate a discretionary bonus scheme that incentivizes, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance.\n Control Risks supports hybrid working arrangements, wherever possible, that emphasize the value of in-person time together - in the office and with our clients - while continuing to support flexible and remote working. \nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nMedical Benefits, Prescription Benefits, FSA, Dental Benefits, Vision Benefits, Life and AD&D, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Disability Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, 401 (K) Retirement, Nationwide Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.\nAs an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.\n The base salary range for this position is $135000-145000 per year.
