This role will be responsible for overseeing the review and improvement of security technology across the client’s data center projects. The Program Manager will inspect, monitor, and validate construction activities, ensuring all installations, testing, commissioning, and contractor deliverables meet project specifications, industry standards and client requirements. This individual will identify and clearly articulate risks within their campus portfolio, communicating the impact to risk treatment and acceptance options. They will work with Client team to prioritize risks identified and associated treatment plans.\nWorking closely with vendors in the client environment, the successful candidate will identify and escalate non-conformances, coordinate corrective actions, and provide oversight of outage planning, work plans and project closeout activities. This individual will serve as a trusted representative of the client on-site, maintaining detailed quality records, witnessing critical system tests, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and construction quality throughout the project lifecycle. The role is a remote position and requires regular travel to 10-15 campuses in a contained geographical area, often with limited advance notice.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nInspect building security systems, including mechanical and electrical, for compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.\nProvide risk assessments for various client data center sites and provide information on critical security concerns for improvement.\nMonitor the installation, testing and commissioning of security systems, confirming proper functionality and performance.\nIdentify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions.\nMaintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking.\nOversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists and project closeouts.\nWitness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups.\nVerify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specifications.\nWork closely with contractors, engineers and other inspectors to resolve issues.\nMaintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings.\nRepresent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree. \n7+ years of experience in assurance, specifically working in Data Center Security or another heavily secured environment.\nExperience conducting risk assessments for Data Centers required. \nPSP preferred\nMust be adept at working independently and engaging productively with a range of stakeholders.\nExperience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, method statements, inspection test plans and QA/QC documentation.\nAbility to identify quality risks, installation defects, incomplete work and documentation gaps before they affect commissioning or operations.\nStrong interpersonal skills, including the written and oral communication skills necessary to build relationships and positively influence decision-making.\nWorks iteratively, delivering quickly and frequently to produce high-quality documents and outputs which require little to no rework.\nStrong critical thinking skills that enable problem solving and understanding complex, dynamic issues.\nTrack record of having earned the trust of leadership by challenging norms, upgrading team performance, enabling growth, improving efficiency, and leading individuals without having any authority over them.\nPossess the proven ability to think outside of the box, challenge industry norms and adapt quickly to evolving requirements.\nAbility to travel up to 75% with a moments notice in region.\nBenefits\nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nWe operate a discretionary bonus scheme that incentivizes, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance.\n Control Risks supports hybrid working arrangements, wherever possible, that emphasize the value of in-person time together - in the office and with our clients - while continuing to support flexible and remote working. \nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nMedical Benefits, Prescription Benefits, FSA, Dental Benefits, Vision Benefits, Life and AD&D, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Disability Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, 401 (K) Retirement, Nationwide Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.\nAs an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.\n The base salary range for this position is $140000-$150000per year.
