As an integral member of the Travel Risk Management (TRM) team, this role supports the design, governance, and delivery of a comprehensive enterprise-wide travel security program focused on protecting employees traveling internationally and maintaining alignment with ISO 31030 travel risk management standards.\nThe role will help strengthen the operational continuity, efficiency, and accuracy of the TRM program while improving traveler awareness, preparedness, and engagement.\nServe as a central point of contact for travel security inquiries, triaging and escalating issues as appropriate and providing practical safety and security guidance to international travelers.\nDevelop and maintain standards for assessing countries and regions of heightened risk, including associated operating procedures and traveler mitigation measures.\nMonitor security, geopolitical, health, and operational developments that may affect traveling employees and provide timely assessments and recommendations.\nCoordinate secure journey management, protective services, and logistics support for employees traveling to higher-risk locations.\nProduce travel security assessments, threat briefings, and other intelligence products to support predictive analysis and operational decision-making.\nManage and coordinate the response to security incidents and emergencies affecting international business travelers, including traveler communication and escalation to appropriate stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate records and support reporting on travel security incidents, risks, and program activities.\nDevelop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external security, intelligence, travel, and assistance providers.\nSupport traveler education and awareness initiatives, including pre-travel briefings and guidance for elevated-risk destinations.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of travel risk management procedures, standards, and crisis response protocols.\nRequirements\n3+ years of relevant experience in travel security, corporate security, intelligence, risk management, crisis management, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of travel risk management principles and duty of care responsibilities; familiarity with ISO 31030 is strongly preferred.\nExperience assessing security threats and producing concise, actionable intelligence or risk assessments.\nExperience supporting international travelers or employees operating in higher-risk environments.\nStrong understanding of geopolitical, security, and operational risks that may affect international business travel.\nAbility to effectively manage time-sensitive incidents and appropriately escalate issues in a fast-paced environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex risk information into practical guidance for travelers and business stakeholders.\nStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, security vendors, travel providers, and assistance partners.\nExperience with travel risk management, mass notification, intelligence, or traveler tracking platforms is preferred.\nAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nFlexibility to support urgent travel security incidents outside of normal business hours when required.\nBenefits\nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nWe operate a discretionary bonus scheme that incentivizes, and rewards individuals based on company and individual performance.\nControl Risks offers a competitively positioned compensation and benefits package that is transparent and summarized in the full job offer.\nMedical Benefits, Prescription Benefits, FSA, Dental Benefits, Vision Benefits, Life and AD&D, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Disability Benefits, Voluntary Benefits, 401 (K) Retirement, Nationwide Pet Insurance, Employee Assistance Program.\nAs an equal opportunities employer, we encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join us and are fully committed to equal treatment, free from discrimination, of all candidates throughout our recruitment process.\n The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$95,000per year.
