# Production Supervisor - Day Shift

Position Overview: The supervisor is expected to have main focus on planning, prioritization and reporting upon daily operations To secure the best possible utilization of the available resources in a way that plans, quality demands and budgets are kept within BUID's targets and policies. The supervisor is the team leader for operators and coordinators in assigned shift. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that production targets are met on time, with right quality and in a safe work environment. Effective prioritization of resources and machines in collaboration with the Production Manager and Resource Coordinator on the shift. Sets and motivates team for optimal performance and collaboration including hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other personnel related matters. Secure that operators are properly trained in the machine-/process groups according to wanted flexibility. Establishes cross training needs to ensure there are coverage for regular absenteeism, vacations and overtime needs. Performs vacation planning with resource coordinators. Ensures staffing of team to agreed staffing model and strives to secure low absence in team. Follow up on absence/sickness. C
