The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions, supporting operational activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Cloud Operations.\nAbout Role\nImplement and maintain cloud infrastructure and services following established architecture and security standards.\n\nSupport operational activities, including incident troubleshooting and resolution.\n\nParticipate in major incident response and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA).\n\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.\n\nAutomate recurring operational tasks, including provisioning, monitoring, backup, and recovery processes.\n\nContribute to improving platform reliability, performance, and scalability.\n\nIdentify and support remediation of technical debt and operational inefficiencies.\n\nCollaborate with Cloud Architects, Security, Networking, and other teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards.\n\nMaintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.\n\nNOTE: Role based in Hyderabad (Hybrid) with support for EU/US timezones required.\nAbout You\nTechnical Skills\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.\n\nKnowledge of cloud networking, identity, security, and governance principles.\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).\n\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).\n\nExperience with Linux and Windows server environments.\n\nFamiliarity with containers and Kubernetes (operational perspective).\n\nOperational & Engineering Mindset\nStrong understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change)\n\nFocus on automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.\n\nAbility to balance stability with continuous improvement.\n\nEducation/Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nPreferred Certifications\nMicrosoft Azure: AZ-104, AZ-305 (or equivalent)\n\nAWS: Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)\n\nTerraform Associate or equivalent IaC certification\n\nITIL Foundation (or higher)\n\nAt Convatec, we’re pioneering trusted medical solutions to improve the lives we touch.
