If you're interested in creating inspiring moments of connection, consider joining our team.\nThe Back of House Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all food service department areas, utensils, and equipment in a sanitized and orderly condition. We need someone customer-focused, with strong attention to detail, as well as someone highly motivated and ready to work in a team. The Back of House Service Technician will report to the Executive Chef.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCare and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish room and pot washing areas\nOperate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standards\nClean up spills in the kitchen, dining area, his/her own work area immediately\nWash pots, pans, trays and other cooking and serving equipment\nMay wash and peel vegetables and fruits\nKeep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service as assigned\nMaintain and refresh restrooms\nFollow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment\nTransfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or with the use of a hand truck\nRemove trash, separate into designated containers, and maintain clean floors in the kitchen and dining area\nSteam cleanse and/or scrub out trash and garbage cans\nComplete shift work, as assigned, in a timely thorough manner in accordance with department standards\nInform chef and manager in a timely manner when supplies are low\nAssist other functions as needed\nResponsible for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures - follow HACCP standards\nMaintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area\nHandle and ensure that all deliveries are properly stored, according to both state and federal health regulations\nRepresent the company in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions\nGreet customers courteously\nRelay relevant comments from customers directly to supervisors\nInteract with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service oriented manner\nEnsure customer satisfaction\nWhat We Look For: \nPrevious experience preferred\nFlexible and long hours are sometimes required\nAbility to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance\nAbility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping\nAbility to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time\nCompensation: \nThe above job definition information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
