We promote from within and invest in your future.\nWork-Life Balance: Enjoy mostly Monday-Friday daytime shifts and yes, you’ll usually have Christmas off to spend with loved ones!\nWhat You’ll Do:\nResponsible for washing kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, and cutlery using dishwashers and sinks.\nEnsure all kitchen areas are kept clean according to schedule and company health and safety requirements.\nAssist the chef brigade with general food preparation and basic food service when required.\nGeneral Daily Duties:\nResponsible for the general cleaning of all kitchen areas to required standards as laid out in the cleaning schedule.\nEnsure all utensils are returned to their respective places after washing.\nKitchen areas are swept at regular intervals.\nAll bins are emptied at regular intervals throughout the day, and all rubbish is taken to refuse containers located by the back stairs. This must be done again as a last job in the evening.\nOperate dishwash machines safely as instructed, ensuring water is changed regularly.\nEnsure the chemical cupboard is kept clean, locked after use, and report any damage to the Head Chef immediately.\nPrepare and assist at special functions which may fall outside normal working hours.\nHelp the chef brigade with basic food preparation and service, as well as any other reasonable tasks requested by the team.\nHealth & Safety Regulations:\nEnsure company procedures and statutory requirements pertaining to food operations, health & safety, COSHH, and fire are strictly adhered to.\nEnsure a standard of personal and general cleanliness and hygiene to comply with etc.venues and statutory regulations, wearing the correct standard of uniform at all times.\nAll catering areas are left clean and tidy as is reasonably practical at all times.\nReport any loss immediately to the Head Chef.\nCustomer Care:\nTake all possible steps to deliver first-class customer service at all times and in all circumstances and ensure excellent standards of customer care are achieved in the catering area.\nMaintain a courteous and professional manner and attitude towards clients and colleagues throughout the working day.\nFamiliarize yourself with company procedures and policies regarding client complaints and compliments, reporting all such incidents to the Head Chef immediately.\nCarry out any reasonable management request.\nGeneral:\nBe a proactive team member offering help to others as required.\nCarry out any reasonable management request.\nAttend team and venue meetings as required.\nBe available for staff briefings and company events including attendance at the company annual conference.\nBe available for occasional evening and weekend work subject to the lieu time policy currently in place.\nAttend training courses as required.\nWho We Are:\nConvene Hospitality Group (CHG) operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on creating places and experiences that bring people together.
