To support this belief, we’rebuilding a team of dedicated professionals who genuinely care about improving lives, are passionate about work that can make a difference, and are driven to learn from one another. \nThe Opportunity\nReporting to the Human Resources Manager, Payroll & Benefits, the Human Resources Specialist is responsible for administering employee benefits and the 401(k) plan, supporting payroll and HRIS operations, and assisting with HR initiatives and special projects. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail, and discretion. The Human Resources Specialist partners closely with external vendors, brokers, payroll, finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and an exceptional employee experience across all benefits and HR programs.\nYour Impact\nAdminister and continuously improve employee benefits programs and processes.\nMaintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state employment, benefits, and leave laws to support compliance efforts.\nCommunicate benefit offerings effectively and provide employee education and training across clinical and corporate locations.\nManage new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, and benefit terminations.\nAssist with the planning, coordination, and execution of annual open enrollment activities.\nAudit benefit enrollment reports and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.\nServe as the primary contact for benefit-related claim issues and insurance dispute resolution.\nCoordinate and process benefit invoice payments.\nWork closely with HR team members to manage benefit repayments and reconciliations related to leaves of absence.\nGenerate and maintain standard and ad hoc reports as needed.\nEnsure accuracy of employee data through ongoing review, validation, and maintenance of HRIS, payroll, and benefits records.\nSupport the development, implementation, and enhancement of processes, workflows, and organizational structures within the ADP HRIS platform.\nServe as backup support for payroll processing\nAssist with the testing, review, and implementation of HR technology upgrades and system enhancements.\nRespond to employee inquiries promptly and professionally, delivering exceptional service consistent with ConvenientMD's core values.\nSupport HR programs and special projects, including compensation, performance management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and other strategic people initiatives.\nCollaborate across departments to improve HR processes, employee communications, and operational efficiency.\nWho You Are\nExperience supporting a multi-state, high-volume payroll, non-exempt payroll; prior payroll processing experience in ADP strongly preferred.\nTwo (2) or more years of proven experience using ADP Workforce Now; experience in ADP WFM or UKG timecards strongly preferred.\nExperience supporting a large hourly population related to timecard accuracy.\nFive (5) or more years of experience overseeing benefits and 401k administration.\nBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field and/or equivalent experience.\nExcellent organization skills and high attention to detail.\nAble to work independently to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.\nStrong computer skills including the MS Office suite, with Smartsheet experience strongly preferred.\nPositive, solution-focused attitude, excellent teamwork capabilities, and strong communication skills.\nPrior experience managing a team of 1 or more employees, including directing and reviewing daily work.\nHigh level of discretion managing and maintaining sensitive and/or confidential information.\nCritical thinking skills that provide an ability to seek out new methods and principles; capable of implementing new practices.\nAble successfully complete all pre-employment screenings/activities in a timely manner.\nWhy You'll Love Working With Us\nCollaborative team environment that encourages professional growth\nUrgent care services at no cost to our team members and their families\nExtensive benefit offerings including health, dental, and vision coverage, company paid short-term disability, and optional pet insurance\n401k match after one year of service \nAccess to our primary care (depending on location)\nEducational Alliance with Purdue University Global and reduced tuition rates for team members and their families \nEmployer rewards and access to discounts offered on services and products such as hotels, travel, entertainment, restaurants, and more\nThere's a job and then there's purposeful, transformative work.
