This position is responsible for managing core accounting functions including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, sales tax reporting, and monthly close activities.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while helping maintain strong financial controls and supporting continuous process improvement. \nYour Impact\nRecord daily bank activity and post transactions to the general ledger within Microsoft Dynamics GP.\nPerform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of outstanding items.\nManage the full accounts payable process, including:Vendor onboarding and maintenance\nProcessing vendor invoices\nPreparing weekly payment files\nReconciling vendor statements\n\nMaintain prepaid expense schedules and prepare related monthly amortization entries.\nAdminister fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and maintenance of fixed asset schedules.\nPrepare monthly sales tax accruals and complete all required monthly and annual sales tax filings.\nSupport the monthly financial close process through the preparation of journal entries, including prepaid expenses and accruals.\nReview assigned profit and loss accounts each month to ensure transactions are accurate, complete, and properly recorded.\nPrepare correcting journal entries as needed to maintain the integrity of the general ledger.\nOversee the employee expense reimbursement program, including company-issued credit card reconciliations and compliance with company policies.\nAssist with audits, financial reporting, and special accounting projects as assigned.\nRecommend and support process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWho You Are\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nKnowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.\nKnowledge of managing accounts payable processes.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other ERP/accounting systems is preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across departments and with external vendors.\nSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information.\nAbility to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings.\nWhy You'll Love Working With Us\nCollaborative team environment that encourages professional growth\nUrgent care services at no cost to our team members and their families\nExtensive benefit offerings including health, dental, and vision coverage, company paid short-term disability, and optional pet insurance\n401k match after one year of service \nAccess to our primary care (depending on location)\nEducational Alliance with Purdue University Global and reduced tuition rates for team members and their families \nEmployer rewards and access to discounts offered on services and products such as hotels, travel, entertainment, restaurants, and more\nThere's a job and then there's purposeful, transformative work.
