Join our team and be part of a company shaping the future of cyber insurance.\nAbout the Role\nThis position is responsible for all underwriting tasks related to assigned underwriting files to promote premium growth and target loss ratio results. Responsibilities include meeting key performance metrics related to service guidelines, compliance, and portfolio management.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain and underwrite a profitable renewal portfolio of Cyber Liability, Technology E&O, Media Liability, and other E&O coverages. \nEvaluate, select, and price cyber insurance policies to achieve premium and profitability goals in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority. \nMonitor key performance metrics, including quote, bind, and claims ratios, and take appropriate responsive action to meet business objectives. \nDevelop and manage assigned relationships with partners, brokers and agents and ensure proper servicing of accounts. \nParticipate in conducting internal underwriting audits to ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines. \nWork closely with other parts of the business, including product, claims, and technology, to ensure proper execution of underwriting processes. \nComply with corporate policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable code of conduct. \nAbout You\nGeneral commercial and financial knowledge. \nStrong communication skills across functional areas. \nFamiliarity with underwriting processes and systems \nClient service experience. \nWorking knowledge of cyber insurance coverages and claims processes. \nAbility to manage time and priorities and execute on timelines. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software. \nAbility to travel up to 15% as necessary. \nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree. \n2-5+ years of related work experience. \nRenewal underwriting experience in Cyber, Media, and E&O. \nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. \nAbility to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. \nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. \nCompensation & Benefits\nPay Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location).\nTotal Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation.\nBenefits Overview: Converge provides comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and flexible paid time off (PTO).\nEEO Statement\nConverge Insurance is an equal opportunity employer.
