Our team is composed of top-tier professionals across underwriting, technology, and claims who share a passion for driving the future of cyber risk management.\nPosition Overview\nThis is a blended underwriting and underwriting support role on our digital channel. You will underwrite primary cyber business flowing through our digital platform, handle the referrals and edge cases that fall outside automated underwriting, and support brokers with day-to-day servicing. You will also be the voice of the broker to our digital and product leadership. You will report to Digital leadership and will earn underwriting authority.\nKey Responsibilities\nUnderwriting primary cyber business submitted through the digital platform and maintain the digital renewal book.\nReview and resolve referrals and edge cases that fall outside of the automated underwriting flow.\nProcess manual bind orders and endorsements and respond to broker follow-up questions.\nCollect broker feedback and share it with digital and product leadership in a structured way.\nIdentify appetite gaps and opportunities for product extensions and rule refinements.\nEscalate complex or out-of-authority risks with clear, well-documented recommendations.\nComply with corporate policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable code of conduct.\nQualifications & Experience\n1-3 years of cyber underwriting experience.\nWorking knowledge of cyber risk, including security controls, ransomware exposures, and cyber coverages.\nExperience with digital insurance platforms or tech-enabled insurance products strongly preferred.\nSound decision-making and judgment, including knowing when to flag an exception.\nStrong customer service mindset and clear written and verbal communication.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.\nPacific Time hours preferred, or the ability to regularly work within 9am-5pm PT to support business hours and partner collaboration.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree\nPhysical Requirements:\n- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\n- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.\n- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nCompensation & Benefits:\n- Pay: $90,000 to $110,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location).\n- Total Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation.\n- Benefits Overview: Converge provides comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan with employer contribution, and flexible paid time off (PTO).\nEEO Statement:\nConverge Insurance is an equal opportunity employer.
