The role involves building backend applications and data processing logic supporting risk calculations, trade workflows and reporting.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Develop and enhance Python-based applications for trading and risk use cases\n\n- Build data processing pipelines and automation scripts for trade, risk and reconciliation workflows\n\n- Work with large financial datasets to support PnL, risk and reporting requirements\n\n- Contribute to system design, architecture and scalability decisions\n\n- Collaborate with quants, traders and risk teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions\n\n- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services\n\n- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes\n\n- Support production systems (L2/L3) including debugging, enhancements and performance optimization\n\n- Write and maintain unit and integration tests. Ensure high code quality and test coverage\n\n- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers where required\n\nMust-Have Skills : \n\n- Strong experience in Core Python development (6 - 10 years)\n\n- Strong SQL skills with ability to handle complex queries and large datasets\n\n- Experience with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy) for data processing\n\n- Experience building RESTful APIs/services (Flask / FastAPI / Django)\n\n- Strong understanding of data structures and performance optimization\n\n- Experience working with large-scale data processing and performance optimization\n\n- Working knowledge of Unix / Linux environments and basic shell scripting\n\nDomain Experience (Critical) : \n\n- Experience working in Investment Banking / Capital Markets environments\n\n- Hands-on exposure to Market Risk / CCR / PnL / Trade lifecycle / Reconciliation\n\n- Understanding of financial products such as Derivatives (swaps, futures, options), bonds\n\nGood-to-Have : \n\n- Exposure to PySpark or large-scale data processing\n\n- Experience working with quants or pricing models\n\n- Basic scripting (Unix / Bash)\n\n- Prior experience in
