equivalent.\n\nImplement schema, completeness, freshness and reconciliation checks.\n\nDiagnose and resolve pipeline failures, data-quality incidents and performance regressions.\n\nSupport Spark jobs and incremental data-processing patterns.\n\nAdd monitoring, structured logging and actionable alerts.\n\nDocument fixes, recurring failure patterns and operational procedures.\n\nRequired technical capabilities\nMinimum experience: 3+ years in production data engineering or data-pipeline operations using Python and SQL.\n\nProduction Python and SQL for data engineering.\n\nAirflow, Azure Data Factory or comparable workflow orchestration.\n\nWorking knowledge of Spark and distributed data-processing concepts.\n\nData-quality and schema-validation implementation.\n\nMonitoring, incident triage and root-cause analysis.\n\nVersion control, automated testing and controlled deployment practices.\n\nPreferred experience\nDatabricks, Delta Lake and cloud storage patterns.\n\nOn-call or production-support experience for data platforms.\n\nCPG, retail or enterprise-source data.\n\nExpected deliverables / acceptance evidence\nStable pipelines meeting agreed freshness and quality thresholds.\n\nAutomated validation and monitoring coverage.\n\nClosed incidents with documented root cause and preventive action.\n\nUpdated runbooks and maintainable handover
