Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Build and own the company's financial planning and analysis (FP& A) budgets, forecasts, and monthly MIS reporting for leadership and the board.
• Manage end-to-end accounting, bookkeeping, and monthly close processes (P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements).
• Lead all statutory compliance GST, TDS, corporate taxes, and ROC filings and liaise with auditors and CA firms.
• Oversee creator payouts and brand collections across India and international markets (USD, SGD); manage multi-currency treasury.
• Prepare investor-ready financial models, pitch decks, and due diligence data rooms for upcoming fundraising rounds.
• Implement and improve internal financial controls, approval workflows, and vendor management processes.
• Partner with Sales and Operations to track campaign-level unit economics, gross margins, and revenue recognition.
• Evaluate and manage banking relationships, credit lines, and cash runway planning.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives, identifying savings across SaaS tools, vendor contracts, and operational spend.
• Hire and mentor a small finance team as the company scales through its next growth phase.

Requirements:

• CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute with 6-8 years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven experience in a startup or high-growth company, you understand the pace and ambiguity of building finance from scratch.
• Strong grip on Indian accounting standards, GST, direct taxes, and FEMA/RBI regulations for cross-border payments.
• Hands-on with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling.
• Experience building investor-facing MIS, board packs, and financial models for fundraising.
• Prior exposure to SaaS, marketplace, or creator economy business models is a strong plus.
• Sharp communicator comfortable presenting financials to founders, investors, and external auditors alike.
