With more than 1,000 IT experts in 5 countries, we combine cloud, modern platforms, AI and IT security into high-performance IT architectures for our customers' digital future.\nWhat to expect:\nYou take care of network and firewall topics across CONVOTIS / MCON, from day-to-day operations to project work\n\nYou independently implement and document IPSec VPNs and firewall rules on pfSense and OPNsense\n\nYou design and document network environments for customer and internal projects, following our principle of documenting everything before implementation\n\nYou perform advanced troubleshooting, including deep packet analysis and resolving complex routing, switching and VPN connectivity issues\n\nYou introduce basic network automation (e.g. Ansible, Python or Bash) to streamline deployments\n\nYou work closely with our SOC team to analyze firewall logs and help mitigate security incidents\n\nYou train and onboard new colleagues and share your knowledge within the team\n\nYou actively suggest improvements to configurations and technical details\n\nAs part of our duty roster, you take part in shift duties together with the NOC/SOC Operations Team, including nights, weekends and holidays\n\nYou are open to taking on tasks beyond your core role, whether to broaden your own knowledge or to support your colleagues\n\nWhat we're looking for:\nAt least 5 years of relevant professional experience (excluding educational programs and internships)\n\nExtended hands-on knowledge of pfSense and OPNsense, IPSec VPNs, BGP or other dynamic routing protocols, switches (preferably Dell), and networking on Proxmox\n\nIn-depth knowledge of handling IPv4 and IPv6\n\nFirst experience with network automation using Ansible, Python or Bash\n\nAn independent and structured way of working, with a strong focus on clean documentation\n\nFluent English and Spanish\n\nIt's a plus if you...\nSpeak German\n\nPractical, in-depth expertise matters more to us than certifications.
