This role collaborates across functional department(s) and contributes to their projects by solving technical challenges and ensuring products meet clinical needs, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities for supporting technical leadership may include:Manage and drive assigned project tasks to ensure timely completion of project milestones.\nWork closely with cross functional groups to achieve project and company goals.\nProvide updates during project meetings and document minutes and actions.\nContribute towards ensuring project milestones are achieved to meet business metrics.\n\nInteract with SME’s, physicians, and product managers to develop innovative medical devices to improve patient care, as applicable.\nAssumes responsibility and/or supports in interpreting data, organizing, executing, and coordinating project activities within portions of projects/programs.\nContribute to activities and documentation to create and maintain design history files.\nAssists with the development and implementation of new processes and solutions that will impact the achievement of the department business metrics.\nUtilize engineering knowledge to support the department.\nProvide input on company intellectual property relevant to area of work to drive innovation and IP generation.\nParticipate in creative problem-solving techniques to drive product/process excellence to support projects/programs within the department.\nCollaborate, communicate, and manage effective relationships with cross functional groups to support the achievement of project milestones.\nLearn the organization’s business processes and systems, as applicable to your duties and responsibilities.\nComply with Quality, Regulatory, and company policies and systems.\nQualifications\nEssential Regional or Country RequirementsEducation and/or Work Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering\nKnowledge and Skills and/or Abilities\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nStrong technical writing is preferred.\nThis role requires foundational literacy in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, including the ability to explain these concepts simply, identify appropriate users of AI in daily work, responsibly use approved AI tools for low-risk tasks, and consistently apply Cook Medical’s data privacy and responsible AI guidelines.\nPhysical Requirements\nWork under general office environmental conditions\nSitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.,\nIn line with local health and safety requirements, personal protective equipment may be required in areas associated with this position.\nMay require occasional
