The role aims to drive certificate and SSH remediation activities, promote ownership accountability, reduce cryptographic risk, and enhance the adoption of enterprise certificate management standards and tools.\nResponsibilities:\nLead remediation efforts for SSH keys, certificates, trust stores, and related cryptographic assets.\nCollaborate with application and infrastructure teams to replace, update, rotate, and validate certificates and SSH keys.\nIdentify systems affected by certificate lifecycle events, root CA migrations, and cryptographic modernization initiatives.\nCoordinate remediation activities to ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.\nValidate successful deployment of certificate and SSH key changes across production and non-production environments.\nTrack remediation progress, risks, dependencies, and exceptions through to completion.\nSupport enterprise-wide initiatives related to certificate lifecycle management, trust store updates, and SSH key governance.\nCreate operational metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting on remediation status and risk reduction.\nAssist teams in onboarding to approved certificate management and automation solutions.\nPartner with Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to streamline certificate management processes.\nRequired Skills:\n3+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, or Cybersecurity Operations.\nExperience with SSL/TLS certificates, SSH keys, trust stores, or cryptographic technologies.\nExperience in coordinating technical remediation efforts across multiple teams.\nKnowledge of Linux, Windows, cloud platforms, and enterprise application environments.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nStrong troubleshooting, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent remediation efforts and adhere to established timelines.\nBenefits at Cook Systems\nWe want our employees to have benefits that support their health, financial well-being, and life outside of work.
