In this role, you will collaborate with enterprise and cross-functional teams to define architecture, technical requirements, interfaces, and implementation approaches for business-critical applications. You'll influence architecture and design decisions, help resolve technical challenges, and contribute to the technology roadmap for enterprise solutions.\nResponsibilities:\nDrive the design and delivery of full-stack enterprise solutions spanning front-end experiences, back-end services, APIs, integrations, and data-driven workflows.\nDevelop hybrid solutions connecting on-premises enterprise platforms with cloud-native services to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable application capabilities.\nBuild and enhance cloud-native application patterns using modern engineering practices, including API-first design, event-driven architecture, automation, and CI/CD.\nEngineer enterprise-grade messaging and integration solutions capable of processing large-scale message volumes across multiple business-critical applications.\nPartner with application teams to modernize integration approaches, improve system interoperability, and deliver reusable capabilities that reduce duplicated effort.\nTranslate business and technical requirements into robust application designs supporting enterprise reliability, performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.\nCreate well-documented services, integration patterns, and technical guidance that application teams can confidently consume and extend.\nEvaluate emerging cloud, integration, and development technologies to strengthen enterprise application delivery and support future modernization initiatives.\nRequired Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, another analytical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n5+ years of software engineering experience.\n5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications.\n4+ years of experience with .NET and C# development.\n3+ years of experience with .NET Core, Web API, and microservices.\n2+ years of front-end development experience using frameworks such as React.js or Angular.js.\n2+ years of experience with TFS/Git code management, DevOps integration, DevOps pipelines, or other CI/CD tools.\n2+ years of experience with Azure services such as Azure Function Apps, Azure App Services, or Azure Static Web Apps.\nExperience building and deploying containerized applications.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n7+ years of software engineering experience.\nDemonstrated ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.\nExperience planning and coordinating solution delivery activities in large-scale, distributed enterprise environments.\nStrong understanding of secure coding practices and software development best practices.\nStrong technical knowledge of the .NET Framework or Java.\nStrong technical knowledge of Windows PowerShell and practical scripting experience.\nStrong technical knowledge of IIS, Java application server platforms, and related middleware components.\nExperience using network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Netmon, or Fiddler.\nExperience with MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka.\nExperience developing with JavaScript and Python.\nBenefits at Cook Systems\nWe want our employees to have benefits that support their health, financial well-being, and life outside of work.
