Whether you’re early in your career or bringing years of experience, you’ll have the opportunity to keep building your skills, contribute to meaningful client work, and grow with a company that continues to evolve with the industry.\nCOOK SYSTEMS has an immediate need for a Creative Director to work onsite three days per week in Memphis, TN\nCreative Director\nMemphis, TN (3 days onsite per week)\n6 months plus\nNo direct report or supervisory responsibilities.\nEngagement Summary:\nThe Creative Director will provide creative leadership and campaign development expertise in support of enterprise marketing, fundraising, and brand initiatives.\nThe consultant will partner with stakeholders to develop creative concepts, provide strategic recommendations, review creative deliverables, and support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.\nCreative Strategy & Campaign Development:\nTranslate business objectives and audience insights and marketing goals into creative concepts and campaign recommendations.\nDevelop creative approaches supporting marketing, fundraising, and brand initiatives, shaping and strengthening concepts to ensure strategically grounded.\nProvide strategic creative direction throughout project lifecycles.\nEnsure creative concepts align with approved brand standards and campaign objectives.\nEnsure the campaign story is carried effectively across all channels-social, digital, video, print, experiential, and more.\nCreative Review & Quality Assurance:\nReview creative materials and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness, consistency, and audience impact/brand alignment.\nEvaluate concepts, messaging, visual direction, and campaign execution.\nIdentify risks, gaps, or opportunities prior to stakeholder review and approval.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nPartner with assigned internal/external stakeholders, project teams, agencies, production vendors, and subject matter experts on broader campaigns and business plans.\nLead or participate in multi-team ideation sessions to bring diverse perspectives together and spark innovative creative solutions.\nParticipate in project planning, creative reviews, and milestone discussions.\nPresent creative recommendations and rationale to stakeholders.\nProduction Support:\nProvide creative consultation throughout production activities.\nReview deliverables during development and production phases.\nSupport alignment between approved concepts and final execution.\nExecutive Stakeholder Exposure:\nRegular interaction with senior leadership stakeholders.\nExpected to present and defend creative recommendations during executive review sessions.\nAbility to influence strategic creative decisions through data, audience insights, and creative expertise.\nDeliverables:\nCampaign concepts\nCreative briefs\nBrand recommendations\nCreative review feedback\nExecutive presentation materials\nProduction consultation\nCampaign creative assessments\nRequired Qualifications:\n10+ years of creative direction experience.\nPortfolio demonstrating integrated campaign leadership.\nExperience overseeing multi-channel campaigns.\nExperience presenting recommendations to executive stakeholders.\nExperience collaborating with agencies, designers, copywriters, and production teams.\nMandatory Candidate Submission Requirements:\nPortfolio required.
