As such, the default assumption for employees and partners is a hybrid schedule: some in-office presence and some work from home days absent certain essential in-office roles that require five (5) days/week in-office.\nPosition summary: This role is part of the Strategy, Transformation & Growth Team, which acts as the firm’s \"central nervous system,\" building the scalable infrastructure and data-backed frameworks that allow Marketing & Client Development to move from reactive execution to proactive, high-impact strategy. It ensures that strategic choices and unique brand differentiating experiences (spanning high-end events to targeted digital channels) are translated into repeatable, optimized market performance that makes the firm stand out in market. Specificduties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nPosition responsibilities:\n Content Management & Updates: Manage the high-volume entry and formatting of content (insights, bios, news) within the CMS, ensuring high-fidelity layouts and brand consistency.\nTechnical QA & Site Health: Conduct regular site audits to identify and fix broken links, image errors, and formatting inconsistencies across all digital properties.\nLanding Page Development: Build and optimize campaign-specific landing pages, utilizing established design components to drive lead generation and client engagement.\n Offshore Developer Tasking: Manage the flow of tickets to offshore development teams, providing clear requirements and performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) on all fixes.\n Image & Media Optimization: Prepare and optimize digital assets (photos, videos, graphics) for web performance, ensuring optimal load speeds and accessibility compliance.\nSEO Metadata Implementation: Execute on-page SEO tactics, including the implementation of title tags, meta descriptions, and alt-text as defined by the search strategy.\nAccessibility Monitoring: Utilize monitoring tools to ensure the website meets WCAG standards, implementing tactical fixes to maintain an inclusive digital experience.\n Web Analytics Tracking: Set up and monitor event tracking (e.g., button clicks, form fills) to ensure user behavior is accurately captured for the Senior Manager’s analysis.\nPlatform Support & Documentation: Act as a \"super user\" for the CMS, providing guidance to MCD contributors and maintaining internal \"how-to\" documentation.\n Integration Support: Assist in the tactical testing of integrations between the web and other MCD technologies (CRM, MAP, etc.).\nAll other duties as assigned or required\nSkills and experience:\nRequired:\nAfter orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications\nAbility to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required\nAbility to travel, as required\n4+ years directly applicable experience (e.g., marketing or business development, preferably with an emphasis working in a strategy, transformation, or growth function)\nHands-on Web development/authoring experience (e.g. HTML, CSS, CMS)\nSEO/AEO/GEO strategy and optimization (including schema markup, industry standard SEO tools)\nAdvanced web strategy skills (including personalization, testing, and analytics)\nExperience in variety of web experience and orchestration technologies (e.g. digital asset and project management tools)\nDemonstrated ability to exhibit analytical and critical thinking in day-to-day tasks along with the proven ability to operate at an elevated level in terms of scope of responsibility, judgement and autonomy \nAbility to work independently, demonstrate escalating ownership and mastery of assigned area, exhibit strength in the areas below, become a resource and mentor to others and more as they progress in different roles within the department\nPreferred:\nBachelor’s degree\nPrior legal industry or professional services experience\nCompetencies:\nEntrepreneurial by nature\nExcellent attention to detail\nApproaches tasks through a lens of quality and consistency\nApproaches tasks through a digital first lens\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple activities\nTakes a consultative approach to set goals, drive projects, and achieve outcomes\nStrong judgment\nTeam-player with collaborative spirit\nUnwavering ability to handle and maintain confidentiality regarding firm information, projects, client data\nHigh level of professionalism at all times\nCooley offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package and is committed to fair and equitable employment practices. EOE.\nThe expected annual pay range for this position with a full-time schedule is $93,000 - $105,000.
