To be successful in this challenging manufacturing role, an individual must be a strong team player, demonstrate initiative, and prioritize safety, quality, and compliance.\nThis full-time position is eligible for the following benefits:\nCompetitive market hourly wages; starting salary $19.29/hr., and $20.31/hr. after training\n\nShift Differentials of $1.00 for evening shifts\n\nOvertime hours built into two-week schedule, plus additional overtime opportunities\n\nPotential for bonuses based on performance\n\nComprehensive benefit offerings including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K Plans\n\nPaid Vacation\n\nTen paid holidays\n\nEducational assistance\n\nOpportunities for career advancement\n\nA Day In The Life Typically Includes:\n12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights every two weeks or straight nights\n\nCommitment to a high standard of Environmental, Health and Safety practices\n\nActively participate in improvement initiatives around productivity and quality\n\nComplete tasks with minimal supervision\n\nManually pack yarn for shipment to customers\n\nMaintain constant flow of materials to and from the area\n\nOperate fork trucks and computer systems\n\nIn all areas of responsibilities, candidates must be able to:\nCommunicate efficiently and effectively with the team and other areas\n\nInterpret and execute on various area and site work procedures\n\nComprehend and execute mathematical equations and patterns; i.e. subtracting, adding, and multiplying\n\nQualifications (Required):\nWillingness and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts which includes weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary\n\nWillingness and ability to work in a manufacturing plant setting\n\nThe ability to:\nSit, stand (up to 7 hours), walk (up to 3 hours), bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, and reach at, below, and above shoulder level\n\nClimb stairs\n\nWork on or with moving machinery\n\nContinuously lift up to 10 pounds; frequently lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds\n\nFrequently push/pull up to 50 pounds\n\nFrequently carry up to 10 pounds and occasionally carry up to 20 pounds\n\nMust pass a physical abilities test\n\nAs a principled-based organization, The LYCRA Company is committed to a fair, respectful, and equitable workplace that embraces diversity and reflects the communities in which it operates.
