We’re all about bright futures - for our people and those who wear our contact lenses.\nJob summary - What to expect:\nTo work with Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations and Demand Planning teams to analyse, understand and communicate customer service, availability, demand and performance data. The role supports business decision making through customer supply chain analytics, statistical forecasting analysis, reporting and continuous improvement of supply chain processes and planning processes.\nKAM Analyst Responsibilities:\nAnalyse customer, market and product performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.\n\nProduce availability, service, OTIF, backorder and supply performance reporting for customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nSupport Key Account Managers with customer-facing analytics’ service reviews and supply chain performance discussions.\nForecasting analyst responsibilities:\n\nMaintain and optimise statistical forecasting models and system-generated forecasts.\n\nMonitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias and forecast utilisation.\n\nIdentify opportunities to increase reliance on statistical forecasting and reduce unnecessary overrides.\n\nA full job description is available upon request.\nAbout you:\nWe are looking for someone with:\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nHighly Computer literate with good understanding of data systems\n\nExperience in applying analytical methods in demand forecasting\n\nDeep knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms, building scalable ML frameworks, identifying and collecting relevant input data, feature engineering, tuning, and testing\n\nAdvanced Excel skills including data modelling and analysis.\n\nExperience of forecasting or planning systems (o9, in particular).\n\nAbility to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.\n\nAble to pick up concepts and understand the data trends\n\nAble to understand supply chain systems and processes (Oracle, Baan, Logility, Cognos experience a bonus)\n\nProactive in a team environment and be able to engage in multi-disciplinary groups\n\nExperience & Education:\nRequired:\nA strong understanding of Data Analysis or Supply Chain experience\n\nGood understanding of statistical methods, forecasting techniques and demand analysis and forecasting principles.
