Acting as a trusted partner to site and regional leaders, the role addresses skills gaps, supports operational change, and embeds a culture of continuous learning and improvement.\nEssential Functions\nAccountable for: Learning Strategy & Capability Development\nDevelop and implement an end-to-end learning strategy aligned with operational objectives.\nConduct training needs analyses to identify current and future skills requirements across operations, and operational leadership.\nSupport workforce planning, succession, and career pathways within manufacturing operations.\nTraining Design, Delivery & Evaluation\nDesign, develop, and oversee delivery of technical, operational, safety, compliance, and leadership training programmers.\nEnsure effective blended learning solutions, including classroom delivery, on the job training, digital learning, simulations, and certification pathways.\nImplement evaluation methods to measure training effectiveness, competency attainment, and operational impact (e.g. time to competence).\nSafety, Compliance & Governance\nEnsure all training materials, activities, and records meet health & safety, regulatory, and organizational requirements.\nOversee the Learning Management System (LMS), trainings matrices, and license/certification tracking \nPartner with Health & Safety and Operations teams to ensure compliance training remains current and audit ready.\nOperational Partnership & Change Support\nAct as a trusted advisor to operations and site leadership on workforce capability and learning priorities.\nSupport operational change initiatives such as automation, NPI implementation, or process improvements through targeted training plans.\nPromote standardization and best practice across operations sites.\nNPI and Knowledge Transfers Projects\nPlanning, Metrics & Reporting\nPlan and prioritize learning resources to align with operational demand and peak periods.\nMonitor and report on training completion, compliance, costs, and performance metrics.\nUse data and insights to continuously improve learning effectiveness and demonstrate value to the business.\nPeople Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop a team of trainers and L&D professionals.\nConduct regular one to one, performance reviews, and development planning discussions.\nFoster an inclusive, safety first, and performance focused learning culture.\nManage a team of trainers.\nLearning Center Coordination\nNew Hire Experience champion\nNCRs Human Error Monitoring\nSystem Administration \nCross Training Plans\nProjects and support related to training.\nNCRs Human Error Monitoring\nTechnical Training for new hires\nProjects and support link\nCAPA Support\nAny other task assigned by direct supervisor\nActively participate in the Operational Excellence programs, including their forums and activities, while promoting and supporting the culture of continuous improvement within the organization\n Qualifications\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong understanding of learning and development areas.\nCapacity to generate work skills in multi departments.\nKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations such as ISO 9000:2000, 21 CFR part 820 and ISO 13485:2012.\nLeadership and projects driving assuming with teams assigned to specifics improvements.\nAdvanced skill in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.\nIntermediate skills in the use of any video editor. \nAbility to read and understand highly technical material such as drawing, SOPs and manuals.\nProblems solving oriented.\nStrong and assertive communication skills including the use of two languages (Spanish and English).\nExperience in FDA and TUV external audits. Plus - SEM, internal auditor or direct participation.\nProven ability to design and deliver operational, safety, and compliance training. \nExcellent facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills. \nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret learning and operational data and demonstrate training impact. \nAbility to operate effectively in a fast paced, shift based, operational environment.\nWork Environment:\nOccasionally lift to 35 Kilograms\nProlonged sitting in front of a computer\nPotential exposure to caustic chemicals\nGenerally, works in a closed Learning & Development, Training or Capability roles within operational environments.\nPrevious formal experience supervising personnel\nDemonstrated experience delivering technical, safety, and compliance training.\nInternal auditor experience or internal and external audit exposure\nThree to five years of experience in medical industries and devices\nExperience supporting multi-site or high-volume operations desirable.\nEducation:\n\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineer, or related field is required \nTrain the Trainer certification
