Identify and recover fault situations.\nGeneration and assessment of key performance indicators and trend analysis (eg OEE).\nCarry outeffective preventative maintenance and be the focus for control and management of spares.\nEstablish and maintain a system of planned Maintenance to cover all site assetsincluding the creation of new and review/update existing procedures. \nExecute routine safety checks and ensure timely calibration of machines and equipment.\nCreate and maintain service records for all relevant services and assets in accordance with GMP procedures.\nDiagnose and resolve equipment issues via PLC interrogation.\nSupport the installation and qualification of equipment.\nInitiate and participate in design and modifications of new and existing equipment.\nInitiate and participate in cross functional equipment improvement project teams.\nIdentify and implement process improvements in order to maximise equipment availability.\nProvide training to other team members as and when required.\nEstablish and maintain common ways of working (best practices).\nA full job description is available upon request.\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience:\nQuality practice; recognising and complying with Safe Working Practice\nWorking knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic control systems including PLC diagnosis.\nAbility to problem solve.\nAbility to initiate equipment design changes in response to reliability or process issues.\nPossess strong analytical skills.\nProven flexibility and a strong Team player.\nGood prioritisation and communication skills.\nAbility to operate workshop machine tools. \nFamiliarity with Health and Safety best practices and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nExperience/Education:\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar support role.\nAn apprenticeship in Mechanical; Electrical/Electronic engineering is an essential requirement for the role.\nONC/HNC or similar in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.\nDemonstrable process support experience within a high-speed manufacturing environment. \nProven experience in all aspects of engineering principals and techniques.\nInvolvement in Continuous Improvement projects/activities.\nExperience in equipment design and modifications.\nWhat we offer:\nYou’ll receive competitive compensation and a fantastic benefits package including, bonus, health cash plan, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, life assurance, access to our Wellness Platform to support you in mental health and wellbeing, a discounted contact lens scheme and much more!\nWe are committed to our employees’ personal and professional development and offer extensive training to support your career growth and help every individual to reach their full potential.
