and business operations in Mexico.\n\nLead, manage, mentor, and develop the local finance team (from recruitment to objectives, performance appraisal, etc.), fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\n\nLead the annual budgeting process, forecasting activities, and long-term strategic planning initiatives.\n\nPartner closely with the Mexico General Manager, regional team, department leaders, and commercial teams to achieve financial targets and business objectives.\n\nContribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic and operational plans, supporting sustainable growth and long-term profitability.\n\nPlan, organize, and oversee all financial activities while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, internal policies, and legal requirements.\n\nConduct financial analysis and evaluate business investments to ensure appropriate return on investment (ROI).\n\nEnsure financial statements are prepared and reported in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Mexican GAAP requirements.\n\nLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring compliance with corporate and regional LatAm reporting deadlines.\n\nEnsure effective credit risk management controls and timely collection of accounts receivable while maintaining and strengthening customer relationships.\n\nOversee all tax compliance activities, including direct and indirect taxes, statutory filings, tax books, and regulatory obligations.\n\nManage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders as required.\n\nManage cash flow, liquidity planning, and accounts payable activities to support business objectives and financial stability.\n\nEnsure corporate policies, procedures, ongoing monitoring of company risk management practices, and internal controls are effectively implemented, communicated, and consistently adhered to across the organization.\n\nPromote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.\n\nMonitor and oversee the SSC end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and adherence to applicable labor and tax regulations.\n\n Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, Mexican GAAP, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance requirements.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of compliance, internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.\n\nStrong understanding of Mexican tax regulations, including direct and indirect taxes, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.\n\nAdvanced financial planning and analysis (FP&A) skills, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, business case development, and ROI evaluation.\n\nSolid experience in audit coordination, financial reporting, information management, accounts payable, general accounting, and payroll oversight.\n\nStrong knowledge of treasury, cash flow management, working capital optimization, accounts receivable, and credit risk management.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in a multinational environment.\n\nStrong leadership, people management, coaching, and team development skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.\n\nExcellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior leadership levels.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a results-oriented mindset.\n\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.\n\nStrong project management and continuous improvement skills with a focus on operational excellence.\n\nHigh level of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office environment (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and financial reporting systems/ERP platforms (Oracle as preferred).\n\nKnowledge of data analytics, automation, and Artificial Intelligence tools to enhance financial reporting, forecasting, decision-making, and process efficiency.\n\nFluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication
