Provides guidance, resolves issues, and drives process improvements to achieve operational excellence.\nEssential Functions & Accountabilities:\nLead daily team meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and safety reminders.\nCoordinate work schedules and allocate resources to meet production targets.\nMonitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training as needed.\nEnsure compliance with GMP, ISO standards, and company policies.\nMaintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and team attendance.\nCollaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve production issues promptly.\nSupports achievement of day-to-day production objectives with meaningful impact on business, material flow, and equipment performance. \nPerforms tasks that are frequently non-routine and require adaptability.\n\nMakes adjustments or recommends improvements to systems and processes to resolve production issues.\n\nAddresses general production-related problems that may require understanding of broader operational areas, though typically not highly complex.\n\nCommunicates regularly with both internal and external partners to exchange essential production-related information.\n\nProvides and obtains information on matters of significant importance to production operations.\n\nUtilizes advanced knowledge of operational systems and standard production practices gained through prior experience and/or education.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.\nSupport root cause analysis for quality or process deviations and implement corrective actions.\nPromote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and safety.\nAs business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks.\nMeets all production requirements and performance standards as defined by area Supervisor.\nTravel:\nNo regular travel required; occasional training travel may occur.\nQualifications\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent communication and documentation abilities.\nKnowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nAbility to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively.\nProficiency in scheduling and resource planning tools.\nWork Environment:\nStanding for prolonged periods. \nOccasional lifting up to 50 lbs. \nExposure to packaging materials and machinery.\nMay require wearing PPE such as gloves, mask and hairnet in some production areas.\nGood communication and reliability.\nExperience:\nTypically requires 5+ years of assembly experience and prior leadership exposure.\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced training or certifications preferred.\nOur Benefits:\nAs an employee of CooperSurgical, you'll receive an outstanding total compensation plan.
