The Benefits Program Manager is responsible for the overall administration of the employee benefits programs for Puerto Rico. Reporting to the Director, Benefits - Americas, this position will support a diverse and multilingual population set in the Americas region.\nJob Summary:\nThe Benefits Program Manager is responsible for maintaining plan records, auditing data, and preparing various reports and analytics related to plan administration and performance. The position requires day to day coordination with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize the employee experience, plan performance and compliance.\nEssential Functions & Accountabilities:\nLead and serve as main point of contact for employee benefits programs for Puerto Rico.\nCoordinate the day-to-day administration of Puerto Rico benefits programs, partnering with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with plan provisions, established procedures, and applicable requirements.\nImplement, administer, and communicate benefit programs including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life/ad&d, disability, voluntary programs, EAP, retirement plan, and COBRA.\nWork with external vendors and internal stakeholders to maximize the employee experience, plan performance and compliance and strive to continually improve processes.\nDisseminate mandatory notices and lead benefit communications to the organization. \nManage all aspects of annual Open Enrollments - including preparing and distribution of communication materials, scheduling of webinars/meetings, updating the bswfit benefits portal, coordination with internal HR Business Partners and assisting with employee questions. \nWork closely with the Director, Benefits - Americas to evaluate existing benefit programs against peer organizations to determine competitiveness, trends, and developments. \nSupport merger and acquisition initiatives with leadership, business partners and various stakeholders for a successful integration and transition of benefits. \nResearch and evaluate the company benefits to recommend improvements and new programs which strengthen overall plan design. \nIdentify strategies to improve employee communication and education regarding the benefit plan offerings. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\n Qualifications\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, data reconciliation, and large-data-set analysis.\n\nExperience with HRIS and benefits administration platforms, including system configuration, testing, and vendor interfaces.\n\nStrong knowledge of benefits administration, vendor management, data auditing, reporting, and compliance practices.\n\nAbility to independently manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders without direct authority.\n\nStrong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.\n\nEffective communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.\n\nTravel Requirements:\nThis role may require travel.\n\nEstimated less than 10% (5 weeks per year)\n\nExperience:\n7+ years of progressive benefits administration experience supporting multiple benefit programs, including healthcare, welfare, and retirement plans in a complex, multi-location environment with a minimum of 3 years focused on retirement program support.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing employee benefit programs, vendor partnerships, compliance requirements, and strategic initiatives.\n\nExperience supporting complex organizations within a regulated, healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or multinational environment preferred.\n\nExperience supporting benefits administration for Puerto Rico and U.S. employee populations required.\nExperience analyzing benefits utilization, enrollment trends, claims data, and program costs to support recommendations and decision-making.\nExperience supporting annual Open Enrollment, audits, compliance reporting, and benefits reconciliations.\nWorking knowledge of benefits compliance requirements, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, is strongly preferred.\n\nCertified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), or similar is a plus.\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field.\nWe are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
