Position will require advanced accounting knowledge and the ability to make decisions independently, with supervision and guidance generally limited to large or overly complex projects and critical issues. Promote continuous improvement of accounting processes through the effective use of technology, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools.Roles & Responsibilities\nProvide accounting guidance and ensure consistency in the preparation of internal and external financial information across a multinational organization in accordance with US GAAP, applicable IFRS requirements, and company policies.\nDirect the preparation, consolidation, analysis, and presentation of financial information, including financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules, assigning responsibilities and reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement and modernization of accounting processes through thoughtful application of technology, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools, while maintaining appropriate accounting judgment, controls, and review.\nLead the performance, development, training, and mentoring of accounting personnel, including hiring, career development, and performance management, while ensuring the team has the tools, processes, and resources needed to operate effectively and efficiently.\nPerform technical accounting research related to new transactions, accounting guidance, and financial reporting requirements, and support implementation of accounting conclusions, policies, and related processes, within assigned areas.\nSupport monthly consolidation activities, including eliminations, intercompany transactions, corporate adjustments, and other financial reporting matters.\nSupport internal and external audits, including audit readiness, preparation of supporting documentation, and timely resolution of audit requests, within assigned areas.\nEnsure appropriate internal controls are maintained to support accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of company assets.\nAnalyze general ledger and balance sheet accounts to ensure balances are appropriately supported and fairly presented.\nPartner with Finance, Tax, Operations, and other business functions to provide accounting expertise and evaluate the accounting implications of business activities.\nLead and participate in special projects involving accounting, financial reporting, systems, controls, and process improvement.\nEvaluate accounting workflows to reduce manual effort, improve data quality and timeliness, and strengthen controls, while maintaining appropriate accounting judgment, documentation, and review.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.\nExperience:\nActive Certified Public Accountant with 5 years of related public accounting/audit experience, or a minimum of 8+ years of related experience in general ledger accounting, auditing, financial reporting, or related accounting functions, or an equivalent combination of public accounting and industry experience. Experience within a complex multinational organization is preferred.\nFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nAdvanced knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting, including consolidations, foreign exchange, intercompany accounting, and other complex accounting matters, with working knowledge of IFRS.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively leverage technology, automation, data analytics, AI-enabled tools, and enterprise systems, to improve accounting and financial reporting processes.\nAbility to identify and implement process improvements while maintaining appropriate internal controls, documentation, and accounting judgment.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.\nSelf-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to work effectively with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.\n Target Hiring Range\n: USD 0.00 - USD 0.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
