The role will also perform assignments with business systems processes, metrology, and customer program support. Roles and Responsibilities:\nEmbrace and apply the CORE Quality Blocks (Structured Problem Solving, Process Control Systems, Reliable Quality) throughout the organization.\nPerform professional Quality Engineering assignments of considerable complexity, under limited direction supervision, i.e.: conduct statistical analysis in the form of capability studies, DOE’s, etc. to evaluate processes.\nDesign, install, and continually evaluate quality assurance and/or control methods and systems.\nDevelop standards, procedures, and work instructions, to provide quality guidance and to facilitate training\nIdentify, define, and recommend issues for quality control.\nInterpret technical data in mathematical or diagrammatical form.\nPerform training in internal auditing, mechanical inspection, and statistical techniques.\nDevelop sampling plans and statistical methods to be utilized by manufacturing and inspection, in assessing the quality levels of products and processes, to include determination of control points and charting methods.\nInterface with engineering and CMM programmers, to design fixtures and processes to ensure the effectiveness of measurement systems.\nConduct internal and external audits and supplier surveys to verify capability and/or compliance.\nCoordinate and participate in material review activities to determine nonconforming product dispositions and corrective actions.\nDevelop, generate, and analyze reports and returned products to identify trends and to facilitate corrective action/quality improvements.\nProvide technical guidance to all personnel to assist in the use of statistical process control and problem-solving techniques.\nPlan, conduct, and takes action regarding gauge R&R, as well as product and process capability studies.\nPerform Quality Engineering liaison activities as required to support internal/external customer service and satisfaction.\nProvide other Quality Engineering support as assigned by the Quality Manager.\nJob Requirements:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in a related technical field.\nProfessional Engineer and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 5 years manufacturing experience.\nFunctional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nGood knowledge and understanding of computer programs, applications, and databases.\nThorough knowledge in mechanical inspection techniques.\nIn-depth knowledge and implementation of statistical techniques, with ability to identify, analyze, and define possible solutions for continuous product and process improvement.\nPerform detail-oriented tasks utilizing high language skills and advanced math skills.\nEmploy excellent written and oral communication skills.\nRead and analyze complex information.\nWork effectively with a diverse group of people from different cultures and backgrounds.\nStructured problem solving, Green Belt.\nSupplier Quality.\nAuditing - certified lead auditor preferred.\nEQMS experience.\nMinitab/JMP experience.\nProject management.\nExcellent listening skills necessary.\n Target Hiring Range\nAnnual Salary: USD 96,600.00 - USD 127,512.00Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills and education.
