Join our team and start your journey today!\nWe are seeking for an Accountant based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.\nKey responsibilities of the role:\nVerification of all incoming invoices with existing PO and/or contracts.\nEntry and archiving of incoming invoices in ERP-system (weclapp).\nCreation and entry of all outgoing invoices.\nExecute payment runs and make them available to the approver:Monitor payment holds before each payment run.\nEnsure that payments are made only for posted and correct goods receipts.\n\nImport bank statements into ERP-system and reconcile open items.\nProcessing the credit card statements (T&E, lodge and purchase card).\nUpload all invoices to \"DATEV Unternehmen Online\" to make them available to the external accounting department including an explanation of the details to enable the preparation of entries in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).\nReconciliation Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.\nSignificant support for the integration process into Copeland standard structures and procedures (e.g. future migration to Oracle; set-up of dual ledger procedures).\nSupport for monthly and anual statements (HGB & US-GAAP.)\nSupport of the tax advisor for VAT reconciliation and advance VAT return (Germany and Switzerland).\nRequired qualifications and experience:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.\nAt least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nFluent English and intermediate German language skills are required for this role.\nExperience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.\nBasic knowledge of IFRS and/or German GAAP is considered an advantage.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and international teams.\nStrong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.\nAbout the Location\nOur Cluj-Napoca office is a key European hub for Copeland, supporting engineering, IT, finance, marketing, and customer operations.
