This role provides hands-on technical support for shop floor systems, production equipment integration, and office IT resources, contributing to overall plant reliability and productivity.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Support & Maintenance\nProvide first and second-level IT support for hardware, software, and network issues across manufacturing and office environments.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues with end-user devices, including PCs, industrial PCs (IPCs), tablets, handheld scanners, printers, and labelers.\nSupport and maintain manufacturing-specific applications (MES, ERP interfaces, SCADA, production monitoring systems).\nAssist in installing, configuring, and maintaining PCs, servers, industrial switches, and shop floor IT equipment.\nManage user accounts, access control, and security compliance (Active Directory, , ERP systems).\nManufacturing Systems Support\nSupport production line IT devices such as barcode/RFID scanners, HMIs, vision systems, and quality control equipment.\nMonitor and ensure uptime of IT infrastructure supporting automated lines.\nCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate IT systems with production machinery.\nMaintain backups and recovery procedures for production systems.\nNetworking & Infrastructure\nAssist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant networks (fiber/copper, industrial switches, VLANs).\nSupport wireless connectivity for mobile and handheld devices used in production.\nMaintain server rooms, UPS systems, and network closets in compliance with IT standards.\nCybersecurity & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.\nApply security patches, updates, and antivirus management on production systems.\nReport and escalate cybersecurity incidents.\nQualifications & Skills:\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).\n2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nStrong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, and Active Directory.\nExperience with ERP/MES systems, industrial PCs, and production IT hardware.\nFamiliarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, industrial Ethernet, firewalls).\nHands-on experience with handheld scanners, label printers, and production-related IT devices.\nStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a production-critical environment.\nGood communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams (IT, Engineering, Operations).\nWorking Conditions:\nOn-site position within the manufacturing plant.\nMay require off-shift or weekend support depending on production schedules.\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
