Join our team and start your journey today!\nWe are seeking a motivated Lean Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team. This role will support the implementation of the Copeland Business System (CBS) and Lean Manufacturing practices at our Belluno site, helping drive Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations. The Lean Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve processes, increase productivity, and support operational excellence initiatives.\nThis job is based in Belluno, Italy, and regular on-site presence is required.\nSalary: €30,000 - €38,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.\nKey Responsibilities of the Role\nSupport the implementation and development of the Copeland Business System (CBS) and monitor continuous improvement actions and performance KPIs.\nParticipate in and progressively facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and structured problem-solving techniques.\nSupport cross-functional projects by tracking activities, timelines, and results related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity objectives.\nContribute to Cost Reduction initiatives through process optimization, waste elimination, standardization, and automation activities.\nSupport Lean Daily Management routines and performance review processes, ensuring follow-up and completion of improvement actions.\nAnalyze manufacturing processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies, variability, root causes, and improvement opportunities.\nAssist in developing and maintaining standard work procedures and support the adoption of Lean principles across operational teams.\nCollaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n1-2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Management within a manufacturing environment.\nGood knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify improvement opportunities.\nExperience working with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\nGood organizational and project coordination skills.\nProactive mindset, strong results orientation, and willingness to learn and develop professionally.\nNative Italian and intermediate English language skills are mandatory.\nPreferred Skills and Qualifications\nExperience facilitating Kaizen events or continuous improvement workshops.\nKnowledge of Lean tools such as 5S, VSM, Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, work measurement, time studies, and methods analysis.\nFamiliarity with performance metrics related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.\nExposure to automation or process optimization projects.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to influence change and support a continuous improvement culture.\nAbout the location:\nCopeland Controls is a global leader in high-quality products and services, distributed and supported across more than 70 countries by a network of skilled and knowledgeable professionals.
