Based in our Brantford, ON location, you will support internal and external customers through application engineering, technical support, and the delivery of impactful training programs. This role bridges technical expertise with customer engagement by ensuring Copeland products are applied effectively while advancing industry knowledge through training initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Support\nDeliver best-in-class application support to OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users. \nProvide detailed technical solutions for product application, performance, and troubleshooting. \nInvestigate product application and quality issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. \nPerform and verify compressor inspections, controls, and equipment selections using Copeland tools. \nMake technical recommendations, challenge conventional thinking, and support business cases. \nServe as an expert in compression technologies and Copeland products. \nUnderstand customer needs, identify & communicate opportunities \nTraining Specialist\nDeliver annual training calendar aligned with sales, marketing, and technical services objectives. \nCreate and deliver comprehensive training programs, including multi full-day courses on product, integration, installation, and service training for internal and external audiences. \nEnsure training programs remain current, relevant, and measurable through customer feedback and engagement metrics. \nSupport the Copeland Technical Specialist (CTS) program, including communication and development of graduates. \nTravel to customer sites, wholesalers, OEMs, and training facilities across Canada and the U.S. to both deliver training sessions and participate as a trainee in professional development programs. \nUnderstand customer needs, identify and communicate opportunities \nQualifications & Competencies\nStrong technical knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. \nProven ability to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs. \nExcellent communication skills in various settings (one-on-one, group, technical, and non-technical). \nAbility to anticipate customer needs and problem-solve effectively. \nSkilled in building strong internal and external networks. \nCommitment to customer experience and continuous improvement. \nEducation & Experience Requirements\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma \n5+ years of HVAC/R industry experience. \nCertificate of Qualifications 313A (Commercial Refrigeration Mechanic) or currently enrolled in technical college and working toward 313A certification.\nComfortable presenting to technical minded audiences \nExperience supporting OEMs, wholesalers, contractors, and end users \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite\nMust be legally authorized to work in in Canada and travel to the United States without employer sponsorship for business meetings and related activities.\nPreferred:\n8+ years of HVAC/R industry experience. \nCO2 refrigeration experience \nPrevious experience teaching or delivering technical training strongly preferred. \nCompensation, Benefits & Perks\nBase Salary: CAD $100,000 - $125,000\n100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision premiums\nDefined Contribution Pension Plan with company contributions\nHealth Care Spending Account (HCSA)\nPaid vacation and disability coverage\nHybrid work arrangement following onboarding\nFlexible travel scheduling based on business needs\nOpportunity to leverage HVAC/R expertise in a less physically demanding role focused on technical leadership, training, and customer engagement\nOur Commitment to Our People\nAcross the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: Sustainability is no small ambition.
