Based in our Sidney, Ohio location, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate equipment used to test HVACR compressors. You will respond to maintenance requests, support shipping activities, provide parts to internal and external quality labs, and help keep testing operations running smoothly. You'll also serve as a technical resource for laboratory equipment and testing systems.\nAS A SENIOR CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL:\nCalibrate, install, troubleshoot, and upgrade Copeland Laboratory test stands\nCreate and update team procedures\nProvide technical support for test equipment utilizing various PLC programming languages (Yokogawa, Redlion, and Mitsubishi), methods, and custom applications\nTravel to our manufacturing plants throughout the US and Mexico for annual calibration, audits, repairs, modifications, and maintenance of new and existing equipment\nSCHEDULE:\nThis role is based fully onsite as a first-shift position with a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nAssociates degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Systems Integration, or Controls related field plus five (5) years working in field or equivalent combination of education and experience\nDemonstrated knowledge integrating instruments and systems\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally approximately 15% of the time\nLegal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role\nPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:\nAssociates degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Systems Integration, or Controls related field plus ten (10) years working in field\nETMS - Electronics Technician Maintenance School\nExperience with AC power management\nVarious PLC or other programming experience\nWhy Work in the Greater Miami Valley Area\nOur facility is located in Sidney, OH, conveniently located within driving distance to several larger cities, such as Dayton, Troy, and Columbus.
