The Role
Working within our Lab department, you will test and analyse onsite manufactured compressors using state of the art testing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance and Sound Production Audit Verification using refrigeration equipment
- Fault diagnosis and maintenance of refrigeration testing equipment
- Completion of preventative maintenance schedules
- Involvement in continuous improvement activities to improve the performance of existing equipment
- Use of automated testing equipment
- Chemical laboratory testing to support production operations.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND/Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline or have NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration with 2 years relevant experience
- Candidates with a B-Tec level 3 or equivalent in engineering with minimum 2 years relevant experience may also be considered
- Be able to work rotational shifts
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Candidates should be self-motivated and willing to participate in team based activities
- Have good problem solving skills
